Lost of direction in life and the Light

"I know how you feel, i feel lost, beaten, i feel like going to sleep and never waking up, i have tried my best to make things work, and right now i am at the end of my rope, i don't know what to do, i have nothing left, my dreams just seem to be crushed by my incapability to make them come true and I cant face the ppl i have let down, all i can do is just keep going, this will be my last week doing what i am doing, and if that doesn't work i think that would be it, I'm done for, but honestly i tried hard to succeed and will have to face my failure and man up to it, however this desperation is like something i have never felt before, its deep and dark and unrelenting, like having a huge stone pressing on your chest and makes it hurt when you breathe, my only thought is that there has to be calm after the storm, there has to be peace at some point, i tried my best and my best just wasn't enough."

" It s a lot to ask of an 18 year old to decide what they want to study for the next 3 years and which career path to head down our career advisory service wasn't great and so I went to University and got my degree in Psychology (mainly because I studied it in college and found it relatively interesting) left University and didn't really know what to do with my life, worked for a couple of years just floating and then decided on going for my masters (hoping that this would help with career prospects) finished my masters and entered an admin role (which didn't require a degree or masters that was probably a mistake on my part) because I needed the money desperately."

"Feeling lonely, would like to wake up to a sweet smile everyday, feeling stuck because I don’t want to work sitting on my ass everyday in front of that computer, feeling stuck because I don’t have the answers I need to reach financial freedom in the next 5 years, feeling stuck because of a multiple variable conflict between my goals, the things I love to do, helping others, family, health, which then feels like an overwhelming tornado of doubt and fear and uncertainty in my head, another conflict between saying only positive things and speaking my mind in social settings makes me uneasy, I try to not judge people and I am good at it but in my heads thoughts I do judge appearance and it’s hard for me to stop or silence it, took a good job even like the potential knowledge gained, potential position and salary from it but don’t enjoy the daily commitment and lack of everyday freedom. I’m stuck because I want to be doing what I’ll be doing for the rest of my life now so that I don’t waste anymore time."

Even when God seems to guide us along treacherous paths, even when walking in his ways denies our thirst for instant gratification, even when obedience to his call requires sacrifice and suffering, we follow him because we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (Rom 8:28)."

" Once you are willing to completely surrender your entire life over to the God the Father for Him to fully handle, then what will happen next is that God will be setting you up to follow the specific path that He will want you to follow in Him and in that path will be your call, your purpose, your duties, and the tasks that you will now be seeking to accomplish for Him."
